Student Council

Students have been bringing in jeans to donate to needy teens in Canada and the world.  We brought in over 105 pairs of jeans in a promotion sponsored by Aeropostale.

  On Wednesday, January 13 Grade 7 students participated in Challenge Day while on Thursday, January 14 Grade 8 students participated in Challenge Day.  Challenge Day is a powerful transformational day that engages students on many levels about the  challenges of discrimination, bullying and racism.  More information about Challenge Day can be accessed at www.challengeday.org.

Our emphasis this year is on Fitness and Nutrition so we can avoid this situation!!!

We are attempting to introduce more activity to our program and emphasize the importance of proper nutrition for student success this year.  Staff have been provided with in-service on nutrition from Alberta Health and many are currently meeting with Fitness consultants from FitnWell.  (www.fitnwell.com)
